EUROPRACTICE customers can receive TSMC technology information via imec.

The access procedure is different for three groups of customers:

1 – European Universities and research institutes

European universities and research institutes can access TSMC 0.18µm, 0.13µm, 90nm, 65nm, 40nm, 28nm and 16nm technologies.

All documents have to be signed by a person who is legally authorised to represent the organisation. Customers will be also asked to sign Confidentiality statement.

• For 0.18µm, 0.13µm and 90nm technology:
  complete the 025_018_013_90_TSMC-IMEC-customer agreement and return in PDF format to mpc@imec.be.
• For 65nm technology:
  complete the 65_TSMC-IMEC-customer agreement and return in PDF format to mpc@imec.be.
• For 40nm technology:
  please contact mpc@imec.be
• For 28nm technology:
  access can only be provided after the approval of TSMC. Please fill in the 28nm request form and return to mpc@imec.be.
• For 16nm technology:
  contact Paul Malisse at paul.malisse@imec.be to request approval by TSMC.

Upon receipt of the signed agreements, imec will create an account on the download platform Querio and open access to it for the Technical Contact, i.e. a person responsible for downloading technology files and managing documents. Note that this person should be a permanent staff member. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact mpc@imec.be.

2 – Non-European Universities and research institutes

Non-European Universities and research institutes can obtain access to TSMC 0.18µm, 0.13µm, 90nm, 65nm, 40nm and 28nm technologies:

• Complete the 28nm request form or the request form for other TSMC technologies you would like to access and send it by email to mpc@imec.be.
• Follow the guidelines for the EUROPRACTICE universities and research institutes described above.

3 – Companies

Companies can get access to 0.18µm, 0.13µm, 90nm, 65nm, 40nm, 28nm and 16nm TSMC technologies:

• Contact paul.malisse@imec.be to request approval by TSMC.
• When approval is granted, sign a 3-way NDA (TSMC-IMEC-customer) to receive technology information.
